Presented in connection with the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival Founder and Author James Kennedy, Treehouse offers aspiring young filmmakers (ages 10-14) a chance to work together to create a digital masterpiece based on a Newbery award winning book. The 4 day workshop runs Tuesday, June 28 through July 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Camp attendees will learn to help plan, shoot, and act in a short film. The final project will be entered for adjudication in the 90-Second Newbery Film Festival and shown in the afternoon at Treehouse on Junly 2.

For children ages 7 to 11, this 4 day workshop runs Tuesday, July 12th through Friday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. It's taught by Treehouse “Art Guardians" and lets young artists paint, draw and sculpt their own masterpieces using a variety of mediums, all based on the art of recognized artists.

For children age 7 to 11 (currently in grades 1 through 5), this 4 day workshop runs Tuesday, July 26  through Friday, July 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. It's taught by Treehouse Troupe Director, Wes Whitby. The workshop lets young actors "Step on Stage" at Treehouse by learning about writing, costuming, staging, and acting in a play (to be performed on July 29 at 6 p.m. during the Final Friday Family Frolic event).
