Visit with Your School Class

3. Programs

katie tour2Treehouse educational tour programs are designed with learning in mind. Our unique activities, centered around our exhibits, compliment classroom lessons and support the Utah State Core Curriculum. Our educational tours provide supplemental activities not offered to our general public visitors.

  • School Tours are available Tuesdays through Fridays between 9:30 and 3:00 p.m.
  • Treehouse can accommodate groups of 15 to 100. Groups larger than 30 students may be split among up to three tour guides. To accommodate as many school groups as possible, groups smaller than 60 students may be overlapped with other groups.
  • School Tour visits to Treehouse are two hours in length, with approximately 90 minutes of structured exhibit experiences and 20-25 minutes of chaperoned exploration time.
  • Cost for a School Tour at Treehouse is $4 per student and free for adult chaperones and teachers with a reservation. Admission fees for students in school classes from Weber School District and Ogden School District have been generously paid by the Weber School Foundation and Ogden School Foundation. Treehouse membership cards are not valid on school field trips. Siblings coming with chaperones are not included in the discounted or free admission.
  • We ask that schools book their tour two weeks in advance. Groups canceling within 10 school days of a scheduled visit will be charged a $20 cancellation fee.
  • Groups should plan on bringing one adult for every five children. Because Treehouse is open to the public during school tours, those groups who do not provide an adequate number of chaperones will NOT have chaperoned exploration time.
  • Treehouse is wheelchair accessible
