Treehouse Stroller Policy

Although children are asked to use walking feet, a running child could trip and fall into a stroller causing harm or injury to the child and the baby within the stroller. For this and other reasons, strollers are NOT permitted on the museum floor and must be parked at the front of the museum in the stroller parking area.

This also helps keep our museum wheelchair accessible and in compliance with the building's fire code. Too many strollers on the museum floor is a potential fire hazard and could endanger many lives in the case of a fire or other emergency.

The only exceptions to this rule are those with medical reasons who are physically unable to carry the child, and babies who are asleep. In these two cases, you will be given a special stroller pass. (Once the sleeping child wakes up, we ask that you return the stroller pass and park the stroller in the stroller parking area.)
