Teens at Treehouse

TEENS@2Teens at Treehouse Volunteers have the opportunity to meet new people, learn job skills, and make a difference at the Museum as they serve families and schools. Teens at Treehouse and are trained to help with ParticiPlays® in the Simmons Storybook Theater, assist with activities in the Art Garden, present Exhibit Spotlights and lead games and activities in the exhibit galleries, and, prepare materials for exhibits or use in the Art Garden.Teens age 16 and up (or former Special Participating Youth volunteers) can also serve as Event Volunteers at special Treehouse celebrations, including the Enchanted Woods in October. Those wishing to participate as Event Volunteers must audition and commit to rehearsals and a certain number of hours.

In general Teens at Treehouse Volunteers must be age 16-19, commit to serve four hours per month, and attend scheduled training sessions. Applications are accepted at any time.

All Teens at Treehouse volunteers must complete a volunteer application and interview before being accepted.
