About Treehouse

Treehouse 1The mission of Treehouse is to be the magical place where children, ages 1 to 12, “Step into a Story”™ through interactive exhibits and programs focusing on stories from around the world, the arts, history, and geography.

Treehouse Children’s Museum opened its doors in 1992 and has been providing educational exhibits and programs to more than 150,000 visitors each year. Originally, the Museum was located in the Ogden City Mall, but also took up residence after that in the old Standard Examiner building off 23rd street in downtown Ogden.

Treehouse moved once again into a permanent home in the heart of downtown Ogden in 2006. This massive effort was thanks to contributions from local foundations, businesses, families, schools, and children.
